Find your downloaded file
Save Instagram videos on your phone
After choosing “Download MP4,” check that the browser has finished downloading. A file in Downloads is not automatically saved to your photo library.
iPhone or iPad · Safari
Open KeepReels in Safari, paste the public video link, and get the MP4. Check Safari’s Downloads button or Files → Browse → iCloud Drive → Downloads (or your chosen download folder). To add a compatible MP4 to Photos, open the downloaded file, tap Share, and choose Save Video if available.
Android · Chrome
Open KeepReels in Chrome, paste the public video link, and download the MP4. Open Chrome’s menu → Downloads or use your Files app to find it. Wait for the download to finish before opening or sharing the file.
Video opens instead of saving?
Look for the browser’s download or share option. If you opened KeepReels inside another app, try Safari or Chrome directly. If the link has expired or the transfer is interrupted, return to the tool and get a fresh download link.

Check that the post still opens publicly on Instagram and contains a single video. Private posts, Stories, photos, and carousels are not supported. If a download link expires, choose “Get a fresh download link.” For a busy service or temporary Instagram restriction, wait and retry. A public link does not guarantee a download.
Yes, the tool works in a mobile browser. Paste the link and tap “Download MP4.” Your browser manages where it saves the file; look in Downloads or Files. If a video opens instead, use the browser’s save or share option.
No. KeepReels is an independent tool and is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta. Download only content you own or have permission to save; downloading does not grant permission to repost it.
The submitted link goes to our download service to locate an available video. The MP4 passes through our servers to your browser. The application streams the video without writing a media file to disk and keeps temporary download information in memory. This is not a promise of zero infrastructure logging.
